Excellent signed proof impression, from the only edition of about 38 impressions in total.
Only 35 sets of Cameron’s splendid London etchings were ever published – these were issued by Richard Gutekunst in 1900. Rinder notes that a few separate impressions were printed of each subject. The set of twelve etchings is considered to include some of Cameron’s finest architectural views.
On simile Japan paper, with margins as issued. Faint suggestion of foxing towards outer edges of sheet, otherwise generally very good original condition. |
