There is a quiet, graceful beauty to this view which is characteristic of Gaskell's wonderful, understated landscape works. Percival Gaskell’s aquatints of vast open skies over distant highland landscapes or calm expanses of water are some of his finest achievements in the medium.

On smooth cream China paper applied to wove support sheet, as issued. Foxed, time toned and laid on board - condition has been taken into account when pricing this item.
