The cross in this printing has a three-dimensional appearance due to having been physically carved out of the surface from which the image has been printed. Also known as La Grande Allée d’Arbres (Cantique VI ), this image was designed for the series Le Cantique des Creatures of 1894.
On warm white wove paper with full margins. Very fine condition. |
