The East Anglian printmaker and painter, Leonard Squirrell, was a regular exhibitor at both Royal Academy and the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers, of which he was a full Member. Leonard Squirrell is known to have produced around 100 original prints, the majority of his subjects depicting the landscapes local to his home at Ipswich, in Suffolk.
