This striking image combines the two motifs which recur throughout Haydn Reynolds Mackey’s work – the heavily set working horse and the figure of a nude woman. H.R.Mackey repeated this composition, but showing the nude woman from behind, in a large-scale linocut version of the subject.
On fine transparent tissue, with full margins. Generally very good condition. |
