Original Kenneth Steel engraving.
Very good signed proof impression of this fine architectural work, from the only edition of 60 impressions.
Kenneth Steel's original engravings of the principal buildings of Dublin are now the least encountered of all of this gifted printmaker's works. Produced not long before the outbreak of war, it seems that the distribution of these prints was much more limited than that of Kenneth Steel's other engraved works, as all of these particular subjects are now quite rare. Until the appearance of this particular impression, the existence of this engraving was unknown to the author currently working on the forthcoming catalogue of the prints of Kenneth Steel. No other impression has yet been traced.
On cream laid paper with margins. Very good condition.
