Excellent signed proof impression of this scarce etching.
Leonard Beaumont was born and grew up in Sheffield, becoming chief artist of the Sheffield Telegraph and founder of the Sheffield Print Club in 1929. Beaumont’s earliest etchings, which date from 1926, concentrate upon architectural scenes of his home town.
On pale cream laid paper with margins. Very fine original condition. |
