Superb signed proof impression with exceptionally rich drypoint burr. From the only published edition, as issued by H.C. Dickins. In its original mount carrying the rose blindstamp dated 1924 (the Beetles/Wootton catalogue gives the date of this etching erroneously as 1925).
The Donkey Race is one of the largest of Eileen Alice Soper’s printed works.
On cream laid paper with full margins and deckle edges. Both the print and the mount are in excellent original condition. |
