The approximate date of this work is known from another impression of the same etching which was inscribed with the proper title by Mary Sloane and dedicated "To Mr. Short. 1907".
On antique laid paper with full margins and deckle edge. Laid at edges of sheet to the original studio tackboard from Mary Annie Sloane's studio. One small surface loss on the attendant's shoulder; some foxing and surface dirt, otherwise generally good original condition for an artist's proof of this nature. |
