Horse Guards, the home of the Household Cavalry, is the centre of some of London's most famous pageantry. The Mounting of the Guard takes place here daily and the celebrated Trooping of the Colour is performed on Horse Guards Parade (immediately behind the building depicted) on the occasion of the Queen's official birthday.
On cream wove paper, with the 1924 rose blindstamp, with full margins and deckle edge. Very fine original condition. |
