This engraving was made to accompany verses by B.K. Pike, entitled Friendless:-
I want a wiry pony / With a wild dark mane, / Who'd gallop me / To Anglesea / An’ then come home again.
I want a yellow doggie / With a wet black nose, / Who'd bathe with me / At Anglesea / An’ lick my little toes.

On cream laid paper with full margins. Faint trace of previous creasing, otherwise very good condition.
