Excellent proof impression printed with plate tone. A proof aside from the normal edition of 50 impressions, selected specially by Fred Richards for his friend and fellow printmaker, L.F. Menzies-Jones.
This delicate etching shows a view on the Lagoon of Venice - the Campanile and Santa Maria Della Salute to can be seen on the horizon in the distance between the ropes securing the floating lobster pots.
On pale cream wove paper with wide margins. Very fine original condition. |
