Original Marjorie Firth wood engraving.

Very good inscribed presentation proof impression, titled by the artist in pencil. Signed and inscribed by the artist on the reverse of the original mount.

This view of the bridge at Richmond is one of a number of wood engravings which Marjorie Firth made of the area around her home at Lancaster Park, Richmond, during the mid to later 1920’s.

On fine simile Japan paper with full margins and deckle edge. Tipped at corners to original inscribed mount. Mild time tone, otherwise very good original condition.
