Waiting is characteristic of Hill’s mature etched work with its symbolic image of a father and child waiting to begin their journey into the afterlife, guided by an angel. A stork, symbolising birth, looks on in silence.
On warm white laid paper with full margins and deckle edge. Mild discolouration verso only, otherwise very good condition. |
