Very good proof impression printed in three colours: brownish-black, red and grey. From the only edition of approximately 20 signed proofs.
A crowd of refugees is seen queuing through the station entrance whilst in the foreground lie the wounded, on stretchers, awaiting evacuation.
On smooth simile-Japan paper with full margins. One soft diagonal crease and evidence of previous mounting at extreme edge of sheet verso, otherwise excellent original condition. |
