Excellent signed proof impression from the only edition.

This finely handled landscape view shows a pair of youngsters retrieving the fish which they have caught from amongst the reeds at the river’s edge. Seated amidst the main group of trees another figure can be seen with rod in hand. In the distance the sun is setting beyond the nearby village.

On cream laid paper, watermarked MBM, with full margins and deckle edge. Faint soft crease towards right of sheet, otherwise very good original condition.
