Very good impression from the only edition of 60 signed and numbered proofs.
Poissonnerie is a typical example of Auguste Brouet's images of Parisian street life. This fine proof impression is printed on cream wove paper with full margins and deckle edge. The faintest suggestion of unobtrusive foxing, otherwise very good original condition. With the blindstamp of Cercle Librairie Estampe and with the artist's own blindstamp created by G. Boutitié (Lugt 400b). From the collection of K.M. Guichard and with his collector's stamp verso. |
