Excellent signed proof impression printed with considerable plate tone. Inscribed “A imp.” to denote that this impression was printed by the artist himself. From the artist’s own personal collection.
This view shows London’s Waterloo Place from outside the Athenaeum Club, looking up the length of Lower Regent Street towards Piccadilly Circus. The monument to the Crimean War stands prominent in the right-hand foreground.
On antique wove paper with full margins and deckle edge. Unobtrusive printing crease in lower outer margin, otherwise very good original condition. |
