This elegant view of Lord Harrington’s house, seen through the trees of Kensington Gardens, was issued in Francis Seymour Haden’s first publication, Études à l’eau-forte. At this time Francis Seymour Haden was working closely with his relative by marriage, Whistler.
On cream laid paper, with elaborate armorial crest watermark, with margins. One or two isolated foxing spots verso only, otherwise generally very good original condition. |
