Excellent impression of one of Frank Hill’s two finest etched works.
This unusual image depicts a group of chemical apparatus with a list, in the background, of the essential elements found in the human body. Standing unashamedly amongst these objects is the figure of the scientist’s intended goal - a perfect woman.
Designed as an independent print, no edition size is known for this etching; however, this particular impression is numbered 36 at the lower left corner of the sheet.
On warm white wove paper with full margins. Very fine original condition. |
