The highly accomplished original line engravings of the Scottish painter-printmaker, Charles Murray, are seldom seen available today. Born in Aberdeen and trained as an artist in Glasgow, Charles Murray went on to win the coveted Prix de Rome for engraving in 1923. It was during his sojourn in Italy, from 1923 to 1925, that his skills as an engraver flourished.
