This fine open view shows the considerable influence which Sir Frank Short had upon Mary Sloane’s etching style and demonstrates the minimal Whistlerian approach to which she shifted in her later printed works.

On cream laid paper with very wide margins. Some discolouration and handling defects in outer margins, otherwise generally good original condition.
