Excellent signed proof impression from the only edition.
It was in the Enamel and Lustre Kilns seen in this etching that the Wedgwood pottery would be 'baked' to produce the fine glazes, often coloured, or the gilded effects found on many of its products.
On warm white wove paper, watermarked Hand Made, with full margins and deckle edge. Minor foxing verso, otherwise very fine original condition. Image surface excellent. |
