Presentation proof, signed and dated 1929 in pencil and inscribed “Chepstow from the Cliff. 1st state”. Further inscribed by the artist "To Dr.H. Fergal Woods - from the artist 1930". Exceptionally strong working proof impression.
On warm white laid paper, watermarked F.J. Head & Co, with full margins and deckle edge. One repaired tear in upper margin just entering top of image, otherwise very fine condition. |
