Very fine signed proof impression from the only edition.
Only 35 sets of Cameron’s splendid London etchings were ever published - these were issued by Richard Gutekunst in 1900. Rinder notes that a few separate impressions were printed of each subject. The set of twelve etchings is considered to include some of Cameron’s finest architectural views – this particularly fine proof of Waterloo Place ranks amongst the very best of these works.
On simile Japan paper with narrow margins, as issued. Old paper hinges at upper edge verso, otherwise very fine original condition. |
