A dentellière is a lady who makes traditional lacework – one of the famed crafts of Belgium.
Despite being numbered from a declared edition of 60 proof impressions, for unknown reasons this particular drypoint has become one of the most scarce of Salomon van Abbé’s prints today.
On fibrous simile Japan paper with margins. Mild discolouration in outer margins of sheet, otherwise generally very good original condition. |
