St. Nicholas, Prague is a magnificent architectural study in drypoint which captures every aspect of scale and detail with extraordinary accuracy. Stanley Anderson chose St. Nicholas, Prague as one of his two exhibition plates at the Royal Academy exhibition of 1929 in London.
On cream wove Millbourn paper with full margins and deckle edge. Evidence of old hinges at upper edge of sheet, otherwise very fine original condition. Image surface excellent. |
