Excellent signed proof impression with rich drypoint burr, from the only published edition of 95 impressions issued by James Connell & Sons in 1936.
Kenneth Steel chose an impression of this drypoint for exhibition at the Royal Hibernian Academy in 1936.
On cream wove paper with full margins and deckle edge. Mat line in outer margins and one foxing spot, otherwise very good original condition. |
