The fine Symbolist etchings of Carl Ruckdeschel are filled with overtones of German Romanticism yet incline towards the style of Eastern European illustration of the early 20th century. Carefully printed with the colours applied à la poupée, these delicate etchings are both decorative and emblematic in their nature.

On cream wove paper with full margins and deckle edge. Very fine original condition.
