Original Martin Hardie drypoint.
Excellent impression with rich drypoint burr. From the only edition of 92 signed proofs (101 in all).
From 1912 onwards Martin Hardie turned increasingly towards the use of drypoint and by the date of this work was producing few pure etchings.
On cream laid F J Head paper with full margins and deckle edge. Very fine original condition. |
