Exceptionally strong signed proof impression of this outstanding architectural work, from the only edition of 60 impressions.
Kenneth Steel's original engravings of the principal buildings of Dublin are now the least encountered of all of this gifted printmaker's works. Produced not long before the outbreak of war, it seems that the distribution of these prints was much more limited than that of Kenneth Steel's other engraved works, as all of these particular subjects are now quite rare. Until the appearance of this particular impression, the physical dimensions of this work remained unknown to the author working on the forthcoming catalogue of the prints of Kenneth Steel, as no other example could be located, although the image was known.
On cream laid paper with margins. Generally good condition.
