Original Arthur Briscoe etching.
Beautiful impression with excellent colour, printed in tones of blue, red, yellow and black inks. A particularly fine example from the only published edition of 100 signed and numbered proofs.
A Tea Clipper is one of Arthur Briscoe’s largest plates and one of his few colour prints; indeed, in an output of over 200 etched plates only three were printed in colour.
On cream wove paper with full margins. Excellent condition. |
