Very good, strong impression with pronounced etched line.
This forceful etched study of A Breton Peasant clearly reflects the teaching of Alphonse Legros and bears remarkable stylistic similarities to the etched potraits of another of Legros’s students, namely William Strang. George Woolliscroft-Rhead’s original etchings are comparatively scarce today.
On cream laid paper with full margins. Very good original condition. |
