Original etching by Leonard Brammer.

This night view of Brammer’s native Burslem, although declared in an edition of 50 impressions, is rarely seen today. Burslem had been the home to Josiah Wedgwood's pottery works prior to his move to Etruria in the late 1760's. Leonard Brammer’s original etchings of his home town and the surrounding pottery industries form an unique and fascinating historical document – they are becoming increasingly sought-after as the importance of this highly individual visual record grows ever more apparent.

On cream wove paper with full margins as issued. Very good original condition.
